FALL BACK + NOVEMBER MOVE YOUR BUTT CHALLENGE
Happy Friday all!
In the U.S., we turn the clocks back by one hour on Sunday, November 6th at 2 am. That means more light in the mornings and me getting serious on my own personal exercise routine.
NOVEMBER ‘MOVE YOUR BUTT’ CHALLENGE
I am committing to at least 20-30 minutes of walking, jogging, yoga or biking 5 days a week for the rest of November (and likely beyond but let’s start with November.) If you would like to commit yourself to regular exercise this month, please make a comment at the end of this post (be specific on your intent) and we will hold each other accountable. Exercise is one of the major components of holistic health besides nutrition, career and spirituality. Exercise motivates us to eat better, to feel more content and centered in our careers and for many, exercise is a spiritual experience. Exercising your heart and mind also helps to prevent disease, decrease stress and keep you looking and feeling young and vibrant. Life just flows when we are moving our butts. The lyrics from the James Brown song, “Get up offa that thing..and dance ’til you feel better” invariably pops into my head when I’m exercising. A good run cures a bad mood every time especially while listening to the 80s Cardio Radio station on Pandora.
